One of my all time desires is to storm chase.
Driving round after tornado’s up and down tornado alley in the states – its mad but I bet its a massive adrenalin rush!
However, even I may begin to think twice if this honed into view on the horizon

I have always loved theme parks, mainly due to a desire to see how fast you can go before things blur.
So when the rides in Las Vegas were emailed to me I was genuinely excited and aim to ride them one day
X-Scream
Big Shot

Insanity

So why build these? I think there are two reasons:
a) Because they look amazing fun! The thrill must be phenomenal
b) Scenario – you’ve just lost a lot of money on the slots or at the table. You are contemplating ending it all. You decide to rides these first. After riding them you decide life isnt that bad….
Mad fun though!

How stunning is this!?!?
The Detian waterfall is the second largest trans-national waterfall after Niagara.
It is located on the Chinese/Vietnamese border and is over 200m wide with a 70m drop.
Fantastic!

Last year we had the opportunity to go to Hawaii for a holiday and it was amazing.
I realise many people are now looking at each other and saying ‘Yeah right’ and coming up with many financial reasons why Hawaii isnt an option but why?
It costs a bit to get there – true – but when you get there it really doesnt cost the earth…especially with a great exchange rate!
There is so much to do there you wont get bored. Each island has its own identity and the scenery is fantastic

Culturally there is so much to see and explore and its history is fascinating.
Alongside this you can travel to Oahu (the Lost island) and visit Honolulu and Waikiki and shop til you drop! Take a day out though and visit Pearl Harbour – its really worth it and free as it is a National Monument.
Finally the geography of the islands is amazing. The chain is created form volcanic action and this is evident everywhere on all the islands. You need to go to the Big Island of Hawaii and visit the Volcano National Park and Mt Kilauea. It is an experience not to be missed as you can get within metres of the creation of land as molten rock hits the ocean.
All in all its an amazing place where heaven reaches down and touches earth.

Back at the end of the 20th century when people were concerned with the implications of change and the superstition of what happens at midnight on the 31st Dec 1999, a cartoon came out that changed a lot of peoples persepectives on life.
Its deep and meaningful script full of spiritual wisdom and socio-economic commentry mixed with a small hint of sarcasm was delivered with care and attention by its stars. It was if the paranoia of …..ah who am I kidding its great!
Scoops matey this is for you!

This volcano has been in my life since I was 8years old. In fact it could be blamed for me going into Geography as a career. At Junior school we studied the eruption, secondary we looked at why it happened and its impact, college would it happen again if so what are the possible environmental impacts, University how the possible eruption could mimic past ones and what the socio-economic impacts are….then I teach it!
